I used elements from Beth Rimmer at deviantscrap to illustrate the lyrics to a song written in 1907 by Will Cobb and Gus Edwards titled, School Days. It tells the story of a man and woman reminiscing about their school friendship. Tiny Tim even sang this song. Have you heard it?
You can listen to it at this youtube link.

Superb vintage piece, Debbie!
Lovely piece, Debbie. Deann also illustrated her piece with the very same song (which I don't know - clicking the link right now!)

I thought I was the only one alive that knew that song...lol Great whimsical collage.
Oh wow, Debbie, great minds think alike .... I do believe Deanne has chosen the very same lyrics. A lovely original and vintage take on the theme. Bravo.
That's a great piece, Deb! I love the Jane Austen look of the pair.
